Looking for a Manila airport hotel where you can practically walk off your flight and into your room? Belmont Hotel Manila is hard to beat.
I stayed here specifically because I wanted somewhere as convenient as possible for Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), and this hotel really delivers on that front. Belmont Hotel Manila is directly across from NAIA Terminal 3, and you can walk between the two using Runway Manila, an air-conditioned pedestrian bridge.
It’s incredibly convenient.
But what I particularly liked about Belmont Hotel Manila is that it isn’t simply somewhere to sleep before or after a flight. It’s a proper four-star hotel with a rooftop swimming pool, gym, spa, restaurant and rooftop bar, and it’s right in Newport City with restaurants, shops and entertainment close by.
This means that even if you have most of a day to fill between flights, staying here doesn’t feel like you’re stranded at an airport hotel with nothing to do.
If I needed a Manila airport hotel near Terminal 3 again, this would be an easy choice.

Belmont Hotel Manila Review
Belmont Hotel Manila is a large four-star hotel with 459 rooms in Newport City, Pasay.
Its location is undoubtedly its biggest selling point, but I found it a comfortable hotel in its own right too. The hotel feels modern and polished without being overly fancy, and there are enough facilities that it works for more than simply arriving late, sleeping and leaving early.
This is particularly useful in Manila, where traffic can turn what looks like a short journey on a map into something considerably longer.
Being able to remove that uncertainty from an airport stay is fantastic.
I also found the staff friendly and helpful, which makes a difference when you’re dealing with luggage, flights and potentially odd arrival or departure times.
The hotel has a 24-hour front desk and offers luggage storage. Check-in is currently from 2pm and check-out is until midday.
There were a few people ahead of us when we checked-in around 7pm, but we were soon in our room. The reception area itself is a little small. It would be good if there were places for people to sit and wait while checking in.
Families are welcome, and there are connecting rooms specifically suited to families. However, it’s worth knowing that cribs and extra beds aren’t available, so I’d make sure the room configuration you book already works for everyone in your group.
Location & Getting To Belmont Hotel From NAIA Airport
This is the reason I would book Belmont Hotel Manila.
The hotel is on Newport Boulevard in Newport City, directly across from NAIA Terminal 3. Runway Manila connects Terminal 3 with Newport City via an enclosed, air-conditioned pedestrian bridge.
The walk takes only around five minutes once you’re on the bridge.
After experiencing Manila traffic, I can’t overstate how appealing it is to be able to walk to the airport rather than sitting in a vehicle wondering how long the journey is actually going to take.
It’s especially useful if you have an early flight. You don’t need to leave ridiculously early simply to allow for unpredictable road traffic.
Obviously, how appealing this is will depend somewhat on how much luggage you’re carrying and who you’re traveling with. But for me, being able to walk between an international airport terminal and my hotel is a huge advantage.
Belmont also offers airport transfer services, so walking isn’t your only option. However, for Terminal 3 in particular, I’d take advantage of Runway Manila unless there was a reason walking wasn’t practical.
It’s worth remembering that Manila’s airport has multiple terminals. The easy pedestrian access I’m talking about here is specifically for Terminal 3. Don’t assume you can walk from every NAIA terminal just because you’re staying at an airport hotel.
To find this runway at NAIA Airport took us a little bit of effort. But it is easy to find once you know how.
You need to go up to the top level in the airport, level E, then its at the far SW end of the terminal. Basically, turn right and head up after exiting departures.
The photo of the entrance to Runway Manila is shown above. Once you walk across, there is an elevator to ground level. Walk around to the opposite side of this elevator and Belmont Hotel is right in front of you behind a McDonalds.
There are security people around seemingly everywhere at the Belmont Hotel end so this felt very safe.
The location is also far better than I expected for spending time outside the hotel.
Newport Mall is less than a five-minute walk away, giving you easy access to shops, restaurants and entertainment. Newport World Resorts and the Newport Performing Arts Theater are also nearby.
So while I’d primarily choose Belmont Hotel Manila because of the airport, you aren’t limited to eating every meal or spending every spare hour inside the hotel.
Rooms
Belmont Hotel Manila has 459 rooms, with choices ranging from its Standard Rooms through to Family Connecting Rooms and One Bedroom Suites. The rooms are contemporary and functional rather than enormous.
Standard Rooms are the entry-level option and come with either queen or twin bedding. They’re the obvious choice for a couple, solo traveler or short airport stopover where you don’t need much extra space. We stayed in one of these.
Premier Rooms are another option with easy access to the rooftop pool area. There are queen and twin configurations.
Corner Rooms take advantage of their position to provide broader views, while some rooms throughout the hotel look toward NAIA and others across Newport City.
For families, the Family Connecting Room is the most interesting option. It combines queen and twin bedding and can accommodate four people, giving families more usable sleeping space without everyone being squeezed into a standard room.
There’s also a One Bedroom Suite with a separate living room. I like having a separate living area when staying with kids, particularly if someone wants to go to sleep earlier than everyone else, although for a short airport stopover I probably wouldn’t pay substantially more for the extra space unless I knew we’d actually use it.
Rooms have free high-speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning and private bathrooms, and the overall feel is clean and comfortable.

Standard Twin Room
I stayed in this hotel with just my 10 year old son for a short stay between flights so we opted for the cheapest room type.
On entry to the room, the bathroom was to the right and there was a cupboard with a gown, a safe and some drawers.
The bathroom had a shower, toilet and basin. It was very small, but did the job. Weirdly, there was a window between the shower and the bedroom, It had a curtain so this wasn’t a problem.
In the main part of the room, there were two comfortable beds with nice linen, two bedside tables, a big flatscreen TV, desk area with mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and a comfy chair.
The room was comfortable, quiet, clean and compact. It was perfect for a one night stop.
Facilities
Belmont Hotel Manila has considerably more facilities than you actually need from a one-night airport hotel — which is exactly why I like it.
The rooftop swimming pool is the highlight.
It sits high above Newport City with views across the surrounding Manila skyline. There’s also a connected spa pool.
The plants and greenery surrounding the pool makes you feel like you are in a special oasis rather then right next to the airport.
It had a great vibe when we went there just after 7pm with music and plenty of food and drinks. The perfect way to end a flight day.
The B-Fit Gym is another surprisingly substantial facility for an airport hotel. It has cardio and strength-training equipment as well as a sauna, so it’s useful if you want to exercise after spending hours sitting on a plane.
I’d personally be far more tempted by B Calm Spa.
The spa offers a range of treatments including Swedish, Thai, hot stone, combination and foot massages. A massage after a long flight sounds like a much better use of my time than sitting around waiting for the next stage of a journey.
Business travelers are also well catered for, with meeting facilities and high-speed Wi-Fi.
Other practical facilities include a 24-hour front desk and security, luggage storage, laundry service, valet parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Accessible rooms are also available.
There are also ATMs just outside the recception entrance including one where I was able to withdraw 20,000 pesos, sometime I read was rare.
Belmont Hotel Manila Dining Options
You don’t need to leave Belmont Hotel Manila to eat well.
Café Belmont is the hotel’s main restaurant and serves Filipino and international dishes throughout the day. The selection extends beyond basic hotel food, with local, Asian, seafood, pizza and grilled dishes among the options.
Breakfast is served buffet-style and was included in our room rate. There was a lot of food on offer from fresh fruit to cereal to cooked Filipino options. I wouldn’t say it was my best breakfast buffet but there was plenty I would eat.
Café Belmont also offers à la carte dining and a weekend dinner buffet.
Then there’s Rooftop 11.
This is the hotel’s rooftop bar and restaurant, with views across the city and a much more relaxed evening atmosphere. It serves food as well as cocktails and other drinks, and there is live music on Friday and Saturday evenings.
I love that there’s somewhere like this in an airport hotel. Instead of your final night in the Philippines feeling like the vacation is already over because you’ve moved out to the airport, you can still have a drink overlooking Manila and enjoy the evening.
There is also 24-hour in-room dining as well as a small cafe in the reception area.
Also, there are other options on the ground level of the hotel just a 10 second walk from reception.
You can find a Chai Time, Subway, Starbucks and a convenience store. This was super handy for stocking up on snacks for our onward travel.
Final Words
So, would I recommend Belmont Hotel Manila?
Definitely — particularly if you’re flying through NAIA Terminal 3.
For me, the ability to walk between the hotel and Terminal 3 via Runway Manila is the killer feature. Manila traffic can be stressful and unpredictable, and I love being able to remove it almost completely from the airport equation.
But I wouldn’t recommend Belmont purely because it’s convenient.
The rooms are comfortable, there’s a rooftop pool, spa, gym and spa, and you have proper dining options without leaving the hotel. Newport City also gives you plenty more restaurants, shops and entertainment within easy walking distance.
I think it works particularly well for an overnight layover, a late arrival, an early departure or simply the final night of a Philippines trip when you want to know that getting to your flight the next morning will be easy.
Just remember that its fantastic walk-to-the-airport advantage applies specifically to NAIA Terminal 3.
Belmont Hotel Manila is exactly the type of airport hotel I want: comfortable enough to enjoy staying there, but so ridiculously convenient that the logistics become almost effortless.
